Cyndi Lauper's Story...

Cyndi Lauper is a sweet tan and white female Cocker Spaniel roughly 10 years old who recently came into the Manhattan Shelter as a stray. This sweet senior is vision impaired due to untreated cataracts and has severe pain in her neck which we are having medically assessed. Never having been spayed, Cyndi also has multiple mammary tumors that must also be removed and biopsied to rule out cancer and is also in urgent need of a dental. Her medical care will obviously be costly, so please donate whatever you are able. Despite her hardships, Cyndi is a very gentle girl who adores people and retains her trust in humankind ... she is a true a lap dog who loves to cuddle. If you would like to foster Cyndi, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com to request an application. Cyndi's motto is: "girls just want to have fun." To arrange your playdate with Cyndi, please get in touch. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cyndi Lauper, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
