Jumpin' Jack Flash's Story...
Jumpin' Jack Flash ('JJ' for short) is an adorable 8 month old Jack Russell Terrier puppy who is coming to us from the Brooklyn Shelter. This happy-go-lucky baby is full of puppy energy - among other things, he can jump about two feet in the air! Like all puppies, JJ will need training and socialization, but he's a joy to be around, so raising him should prove a labor of love. JJ has been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. He will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt JJ, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com and request an application. JJ is ready for the fun to begin!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jumpin' Jack Flash, a Flushing Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
