Mustang Sally's Story...
Mustang SallyÂ… YouÂ’ve been runninÂ’ all over townÂ… now I guess I have to put your flat feet on the groundÂ… All you wanna do is ride around, SallyÂ… Ride, Sally, Ride. Our Mustang Sally loves that Wilson Pickett song but sheÂ’s actually very tired of riding around town as a stray. SheÂ’s ready to stay in one place and is looking for that perfect forever home to keep her grounded. Mustang Sally is a parti-colored beauty with huge brown eyes, a soulful look, and a gentle personality. She is approximately 4 years old, has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, and is current on all her shots. She will be treated to a dental cleaning and be professionally groomed before adoption. She will also go home with a new leash and collar. To adopt this Mustang Sally and give her a place she can finally call home, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com to request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mustang Sally, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
