Pandora's Story...
Whoever advised that one should not open Pandora's Box must not have met our Pandora. Having come into the Staten Island shelter as a stray, her background is unknown. While her full history is somewhat under lock and key, a little mystery never did a woman any harm. Most importantly, she is sure to find the key to your heart. At roughly 5 years old, Pandora is a mature dog with life wisdom. She is slightly grumpy right now due to an ear infection, but will soon be on the mend. Pandora is friendly towards people and good with other dogs, so could easily join a multiple pet household. She has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. She will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt Pandora or foster her while she awaits her forever family, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com and request an application. Take this beauty home today and unleash all the secrets that lie within Pandora's Box.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pandora, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
