Peanut's Story...
We can sum it all up for you in a nutshell ... Peanut is an adorable 3 year old cocker/corgi/dachshund mix with a sunny nature who comes to us from Animal Care and Control of New York City. He is a real 'bon vivant' who takes on life with a spring in his step and a song in his heart. Peanut has been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt Peanut, please email and request an application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Corgi for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Corgi dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Corgi breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
