Reese's Pieces's Story...
When life goes to Pieces, it's time for Reese's ... meet Reese's Pieces, a handsome 1 year old male Cocker Spaniel with tan points who comes to us as an owner surrender. Reese was a pet store purchase whose family lost interest. We can't imagine why, as he's a true delight (after all, who doesn't love chocolate peanut butter). Reese has a fabulous temperament and will make an excellent family dog. He gets along well with everyone, including kids and other pets, so will fit in fine just about anywhere. Reese has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to help Reese pick up the Pieces of his poor broken heart, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com and request an application. Reese is waiting to hear from you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese's Pieces, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
