Rusty's Info...

Rusty's Story...
Rusty is a handsome 3 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel who comes to us from NYC Animal Care and Control. He is a frisky boy with a happy nature who should make an excellent family pet in a home with slightly older kids. As he gets along well with other dogs, he could easily join a multiple pet household. Rusty has been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you are a little rusty in the pet department and are looking for a new friend, then Rusty is sure to show you the way to the joys of being a dog owner! To adopt Rusty, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com and request an application. Rusty is waiting to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
