Simba's Story...
Simba is a handsome 2 year old red male Cocker Spaniel who is coming to us as an owner surrender. Simba is a shy and gentle boy who did not receive adequate attention in his last home. He was apparently kept outside on a terrace much of the time. Simba has lived with older kids and with another dog so could easily join a multiple pet household where he would be treated as an integral member of the family. Simba has been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt Simba, please email and request an application. Simba is ready to make your heart roar.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
