Dina's Story...
Hello, my name is Dina. I am a purebred 2 year old female Cocker Spaniel. As you can see, I am a deep, rich chocolate color and very sweet and friendly (like a Hershey's Kiss). As I love everyone, I am sure to make an excellent family dog. I recently came into rescue from Animal Care and Control of NYC, where I was an owner surrender (who knows why, I just know I'm not to blame). I am a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, am current on all shots and have tested negative for heartworm. I will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to take me home, please email and request an application. I'll be waiting to hear from you!  Love, Dina XXOO

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dina, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
