Foxxy's Story...

Foxxy is an adorable 1 year old small and dainty Shiba Inu mix. This Urban Foxx is more likely to steal her way into your heart than to raid the chicken coop, so not to worry. If feathers fly, Foxxy will only be settling herself into a comfy down pillow ready to take her afternoon nap. She is a sweet and gentle little soul with a shy and quiet manner who loves the company of people and a good cuddle with the ones she loves. Like any dog, Foxxy would enjoy life on the farm, but as an Urban Foxx, she will do fine in an apartment setting. Foxxy is in good health, has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. She will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt Foxxy, please email and request an application. Foxxy is tired of the hunt and ready for your hearth.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxxy, a Flushing Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
