Brownie Fudge Sundae's Story...

Hi, my name is Brownie Fudge Sundae. I am a beautiful chocolate brown purebred Cocker Spaniel about 6 years old with a long, natural tail.  I am great with kids and other pets, so should make an excellent family dog. I am named not just for my color but also for the fact that I am sugar sweet. I came into rescue when my prior family lost interest in me (sadly, they neglected my care, with the result that I developed some skin and ear issues, but I have now been fully vetted and have bounced right back).  I am spayed, microchipped, current on shots and heartworm negative. I have just enjoyed a professional grooming and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to take me home, please email and request an application. I am sure to be the cherry on your sundae, the icing on your cake, the mocha in your coffee and the bright spot in your day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie Fudge Sundae, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
