Ruddy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Ruddy's Story...

Ruddy is a handsome ruddy red male Cocker Spaniel just 4 years old. Ruddy is an English/American Cocker cross with a natural tail (an English Cocker's tail is not typically docked, so Ruddy really looks the part!) Ruddy is a friendly boy with a good disposition who should make an excellent family dog. As he has not had much stability in his life, we believe he would fare best in a calm environment and an experienced Cocker home. Ruddy is a healthy dog who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. To adopt or foster Ruddy, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com and request an application. Bring Ruddy home for the New Year and paint the town red!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruddy, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
