Divit's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Divit's Story...
Divit is a one year old, 12 lb. tricolor tuxedo coat, black/white/red, Rat Terrier cross. He has soft kind eyes that will melt your heart when you make eye contact with him. He has started obedience school and is doing quite well. Divit likes to go for walks, rides in the car and anywhere he can be with his human. He enjoys playing with other dogs but would do fine in a single dog home. He doesn’t seem to care much about the outdoor cats at his foster home but he has not been around indoor cats. He is low to medium energy. He is housebroken and is happy to sit on the couch and relax while you read a good book or watch TV. He the perfect size for RVing, camping and road trips. Divit came from an over-crowding situation. His owner was very kind and caring but could not afford to care properly for all of his dogs. His name came about because he has one leg that turns out from a prior break that was not addressed when it occurred. His leg is well-healed so he walks and runs just fine. Divit will provide lots of love and companion ship for years to come.

He’s neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Divit, a Winters Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Winters, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Winters.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winters already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winters breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winters paves the way for another one to be saved.
