Meryl Davis (Roxanne)'s Story...
Meryl is a friendly, GORGEOUS, small brindle girl – check out the racing stripes in her photos, and white trim to top it off! She’s housetrained (with or without a dog door) about 2.5 years old (DOB 10/30/12), and a lot of fun – in one picture, a helicopter is flying over – she’s checking it out. No small animals (no cats, no small dogs) for this girl, there’s some native prey drive there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meryl Davis (Roxanne), a Cottonwood Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Cottonwood, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Cottonwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottonwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottonwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottonwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
