Kiddo's Story...
Hello - I see you looking at my profile! (haha see what I did there? oh the puns are coming quite easy today!)

I am Kiddo, a 2 year old chihuahua pug mix, weighing a whopping 7lbs! I am a a very confident and medium energy little dog. I love all kinds of fun activities - playing with toys, going for walks, running up and down stairs, leaping off of chairs, leaping into slushy snow. I hoard dog toys - the first few days at my Foster Home I emptied the toy box and took 14 toys into my crate. I also enjoy snuggling up on your lap, with a warm blanket, and even having you gently wipe my right eye with a soft tissue (I'll even kiss your nose after you're done).

If I sound like the confident and happy-go-lucky girl you've been looking for, please send an email to calicanrescue@gmail.com so they can arrange a telephone interview with you. They will also tell you my adoption fees are $280 and goes to the costs of my spay, the surgery to repair my eye, vaccines up-to-date, microchipping, deworming, heart worm testing, and all the vet visits to ensure I am healthy for you to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiddo, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
