Coco & Sydney's Story...
Coco and Sydney were surrendered into our care due to allergies. These two sisters were adopted when they were kittens and after 6 years, they always felt that they were in their forever home, but that was not the case.

We can only hope that one day after all the research and studies they have been doing at McMaster, allergies to cats will be a thing of the past. A dream that hopefully will become a reality!

But for now, Coco and Sydney are with us until they find a home. Coco is the more outgoing while Sydney is adjusting slowly to her new life. Pictures of Sydney will follow later. This is what the new foster home has to say about Coco (pictures are above) - Coco- Super friendly and always seek for attention. She likes to sleep on the bed and seems to be very used to sleep with someone. Ohhh and she is a super lap cat and purrs a lot! She will literally jump on your lap one second after you sit down.

If you would like to meet Coco, please contact us 647-866-8988 or e-mail - If anyone would consider adopting both, a reduce adoption fee will be offered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco & Sydney, a Burlington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
