Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mutsu is a young sesame Shiba Inu mix who waited patiently in a Kentucky shelter for a month; the shelter staff didn't even bother to give him a name or figure out his gender--and they didn't even notice that he had a broken leg! Fortunately, DCSIR volunteers drove to rescue him, and named him Mutsu; in Japanese that means "apple", and this sweet young pup will surely be the apple of his forever owner's eye! He is friendly with children, cats, and other dogs, and is learning how to walk on a leash, potty training, and how to have fun! He's even well-behaved in a bath! He has been neutered and vaccinated; the good news is that his broken leg may have healed imperfectly, but Mutsu doesn't appear to be in any pain and plays normally on his leg. He might need some TLC when he gets older--but now all he needs is to go to a forever family!
