Karina's Story...

Karina is one of a litter of 7 beautiful Husky mix puppies that were turned in by their owner on 2/25/15 in Cherokee County NC because he had too many dogs.  Sound familiar - Once again the lack of spay and neuter laws producing unwanted litters in Appalachia.

These puppies were only about 7 weeks old at input and they will be fixed and brought up-to-date before being adopted.  The puppies are Karina, Katie, Kinko, Kira, Kobi, Koda, and Kosmo: 3 females and 4 males.

Karina has a golden brown back with a white chest and white front legs.  Her muzzle is white and outlined by black - a very striking face.  She is a sweet little girl.  If you would like a gentle and beautiful pet like her, please email Davalee Hitchcock at davalee@fastmail.fm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Karina, a Marble Siberian Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Marble, or seeking a Siberian Husky puppy from a breeder in Marble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marble paves the way for another one to be saved.
