My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Johnny Boy; a young, 2-3 year old, 17 pound ball of furry fun. This dog must have Corgi, Jack Russell Terrier and part Tennessee Hound in him. Johnny Boy is sweet, cuddly and playful. He likes to play tug of war, fetch and chew on a rope toy. But he’s not just an adorable face. Underneath all of that is a very intelligent dog who loves to please. He has learned some very good manners like sit, come, stay, leave it, and he waits patiently until his foster parents let him eat from his food bowl. He is clicker trained, fun to take on walks and also enjoys going for rides in the car. He is fine being strapped in or will sit nicely on the center console in the front. He is a perfect gentleman at the pet store and even rides in the cart! Johnny Boy really likes other dogs. At the dog park, he is happy to run with the big boys or just get lost in the delicious world of dog park smells; he is after all, part Hound. Johnny Boy is great with people and kids too. He loves playing with the children in the family. He makes friends quickly with his easy going personality and Jack Russell cuteness. Johnny Boy stays in his crate when his foster family is away during the day and sleeps in his crate at night, however he will soon be ready to graduate to sleeping in a human’s bed. Because he is still young, he’ll need a home with a yard or a family that will take him to the dog park as he needs plenty of play time. Stuffed animals and small shoes look like chew toys to puppies, so his forever family will need to be mindful of that. All in all, you won’t find a sweeter puppy so please help us find him his forever home. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
