My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Lieutenant. I'm about year 1-2 years old and I weigh about 65 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Lisbon area. I had showed up at someone's house one night. I was on the porch but I was cold and scared so I jumped on the door, just hoping to get their attention... Well, turns out the door wasn't latched right and it swung wide open. They had a super scary little chihuahua that wouldn't let me inside so I had to spend the night outside on the porch.
They called the pound the next afternoon and had them come pick me up. I was timid at first and didn't want to approach her, but then I warmed up and let her catch me.
I am a very good boy here at the pound. I seem to listen pretty well and I also seem to be a pretty well mannered boy.
The girls here definitely think I have been a house dog. I'm a good, clean boy. no messes in my kennel.
I get along really well with other dogs. I am even good with small dogs.
If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 6, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
