Chardonnay's Story...
Name: Chardonnay
Color: Brown and Tan
Breed: Doberman Pinscher Mix
Gender: Female
Age: 2 Months
Chardonnay is an adorable little girl looking for a permanent loving home.
Big fan of: Puppy playtime! Puppies need socialization and playtime with appropriate toys every day. These dogs will grow large and will need lots of exercise as they age.
Special features: It is required that Chardonnay be signed up for positive based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized. Chardonnay and her 9 brothers and sisters have been in foster care, where their foster parent has doing a lot to work on their socialization. They will continue to need plenty of socialization with new people, places and other dogs. The more exposed she is to new situations, the easier she will grow into a confident dog.
Dream Home: They are fairly gentle and confident dogs so they might be able to live with respectful children who have experience around dogs. She would probably be fine living with a confident cat who will hold its own. We will be collecting applications for Chardonnay and calling the most appropriate homes for meet and greets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chardonnay, a Bellingham Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
