MEET ORLIE...and a more loving, submissive, easy going girl you will never meet! This gold/white, 13 lb, 2 yr old Lhasa Shih Tzu mix will steal your heart away. She came from the SEAACA shelter, where she didn't show well because she didn't like being on display. Practically shut down, nobody wanted her. Sad for them, happy for us!!! Orlie was not fond of dogs in her face and would retreat under a couch to avoid them! However, now that she has blossomed, she initiates play with everyone and loves to play bite their ears and get them to play with her!! WHAT A CHANGE A WEEK CAN MAKE!! She does not have an aggressive bone in her body and is great with kids and even likes cats! She loves her human, but is very respectful and well mannered. She isn't pushy or demanding...she is loving and wants to be with you, getting love and attention...and, of course, belly rubs! She does not want to be left behind, and she will be a wonderful companion to any playful dog. Orlie seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees at your house! She is quiet, kissy and now that she has come out of her shell....happy and waiting to go to her forever home!!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
