Buster's Story...
BUSTED…I admit it I've been caught. I LOVE hot dogs! I can't believe they figured it out. I was trying my best to put on a brave face, because I was with my family for years then one day I found myself in this scary place. I was so confused and missed my mom and dad. I kept seeing people come to my cage, and say poor thing. I couldn't figure out why they kept staring at me..what were they going to do to me? Then one day lots of dogs and puppies left the shelter. I had no clue where they were going. A bunch of people were staring at me and taking all the puppies away from around me. I was so scared they would come for me next. After a few hours everything went back to normal, and a really nice girl came to my kennel. She didn't say poor thing, or try to take me anywhere. Instead she gave me hot dogs! How did she know those were my absolute favorite thing?! I was so excited to be loved on again. I showed her how quickly I could spin, and how good I was at sitting! She even said I was a good boy! Can you believe it? She thought I was a good boy, and said she would help me get out of this scary place. We went for a long walk and she took lots of pictures of me. She said I was so handsome, and would get a great home in no time with all the hot dogs a dog could possible want! I sure hope that's true, because that's all I've ever wanted in life, a nice family that loves me no matter what! 2 1/2 years, 39 lbs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Darlington Australian Shepherd/Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Welsh Corgi for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
