Tink's Story...
My name is Tink. I am 6 months old. I am the “runt” of the litter, but I am catching up quickly and I can hold my own with my siblings when we play! I am living in a foster home with my 6 brothers and sisters, 2 other cats, and 1 big dog (I love to watch the dog through the window and sniff her when she’s not paying attention!). My favorite toy is a string, and I love to chase my siblings. I’m an extremely curious girl and I love to sniff people and observe them. I am still a little bit shy, but with a little love, affection, and some time to settle in, I will come around and be the perfect kitten companion. Meanwhile, I will patrol the house to make sure it is safe for you—I’ve got your back!

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 or apply online and be sure to ask all about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tink, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
