My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Twinkie a chi blend, this young blonde babe is approximately 10 months old, 9 lbs. and 11" tall. She is a medium energy girl who loves toys, especially squeaky ones. Twinkie plays fetch and is currently perfecting her housetraining and learning basic commands. She loves to take walks and ride in the car but when you need her she is right at your side, the perfect girl friend. She loves kids, dogs and does well with the family cat. Twinkie is just an all around ray of sunshine.
She is currently being fostered with 3 other dogs a cat and 3 kids 5, 7, 12.
A little back-story on this young girl. She is one heck of a survivor. She was found nesting in some dry leaves near an irrigation ditch to keep her self-safe and warm. She had obviously been dumped there. I picked her up, immediately put her in my lap and took her straight home. Though initially frightened and a bity shy, when we got in the car she seemed to exhale loudly as if she know she was safe and on her way to a better life.
