Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB Dec 15, 2008
Charlie is the feline version of a super model! She is very tall, slim and stunning! She has a personality to match, too. She is active, friendly, talkative, and loves to climb and explore. Her favourite people in her foster home are a toddler and preschooler, both of whom are very gentle and loving toward her.
Charlie started out as a stray at a Toronto Animal Services shelter. She was heavily matted, very dirty and grimy and was excessively thin. Staff at the shelter and Toronto Cat Rescue saw her potential as a very social and sweet girl. She came to our foster home in January, and we began the process of helping her to get cleaned and dematted, as well as integrated with the other foster cats in our home. Today, she looks lustrous, and we know she feels much better, too!
She eats well and loves to run, scratch and stretch on the scratching post, and climb to her favourite window seats. She is well-liked by the other cats and is a steady companion to our two children!
Charlie will continue to thrive in a forever home that has another cat companion that she can be gradually introduced to. She will continue to do well to have the company and attention of adults and caring and gentle children alike. We do get the sense that she may be used to the outdoors due to her extreme interest in windows, so a home in which she is safely guarded from getting outdoors will be needed.
She is a very social girl, and will need a home that can give her lots of attention, and opportunities for exploration, play and exercise!
