Callie's Story...
Hi I'm Callie and I can't wait to meet you! I am only a little over a year old and cute as a button! My foster dads say I'm a very loving dog. My doggy foster sister Bella tries to avoid my charms but I get her with a kiss every time! Did I mention I'm only 30lbs? Most people think that is a pretty awesome size for a dog because I can play with big or little dogs. My foster family hasn't seen me with kids or cats but they suspect I'll be fine with both. I am already housetrained and go into my crate nice and quietly and sleep. I've already been spayed, I'm up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped!

I'm currently fostered in Birmingham, Alabama but I'm not picky about where I end up as long as I'm an inside dog and loved! Please email me at info@FORrescue.net or fill out an application directly at http://www.FORrescue.net/dog-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Chattanooga Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
