DeeDee--pending's Story...
Meet DeeDee, although she doesn't quite look like it right now, a red girl.  She came to us as a stray from a shelter with some skin issues and lump on her hip. We had the lump removed and it was benign so no further treatment is necessary--except to grow back that fur that was shaved. She is also working on growing all the hair on the rest of her body (which is kind of patchy right now) with some regular baths, good food and lots of love from her foster mom.  We think Dee is about 4-5 years old, though now that she's feeling better, she's bringing back her puppy energy, making up for all that time of not feeling so good.  She LOVES people, any age, big or small, nobody is a stranger.  She just can't get enough affection, clearly starved for it before she came to us, and she's a kisser too! She gets along with cats and kids and we're working on dog testing her.  Wouldn't you love to give this girl her happy ending?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DeeDee--pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
