Casanova's Story...
We named this cute guy Casanova because he's so smooth and will win your heart in seconds. He's super cute and super sweet and super lovable. He will kiss your face off and roll over so you can scratch his belly. He gets along great with other dogs. He's a little shy with new people at first but he warms up very quickly. He eats with three big dogs and doesn't bother their bowls. He doesn't ever beg for people food and will lay silently while we eat. He's very generous in sharing bones and toys and also loves to run and play. This guy is an all around great dog. He weighs around 35 lbs right now and is about 6 months old. He is house trained and crate trained and already knows some basic training commands.

Casanova is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but he is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is loved. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casanova, a Chattanooga Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
