Meet Penny, a 34 pound, 7 month old Terrier mix puppy.
Penny was rescued from a local animal shelter and is spending time with her foster family until she is adopted.
Penny is full of puppy energy and playfulness. She loves to be with people and will follow you around the house to check out what you're up to. She will gladly snuggle with you for a little while, then she's on the move again. She can entertain herself with toys and bones when she needs to be left alone. Since she's still very much a puppy and can be energetic, she may do better in a home with older children. She gets along well with other dogs in the home once she has gotten used to them. She is crate trained and house trained. She hasn't been around cats, so we are unsure how she will do around them.
Penny is searching for a home with a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. Maybe a doggy playmate or two is OK with her, but she would also do fine as an only dog. On her list is a lap to cuddle in, some toys to play with, chew toys to keep her busy, and a family who doesn't mind a shadow following them around.
Penny is spayed, microchipped, on flea and heartworm prevention, and has received her age-appropriate vaccinations.
Her adoption fee is $75.
