Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Louie's Story...
Hi I'm Louie and I'm the love you've been waiting for! I am quiet, laid back, and get along wonderfully with other dogs! I am only 7.5 lbs, around 5 years old, and I'm even housetrained! I'm content to snuggle in your lap for hours! I gets along well with older kids but prefers not to be with kids under the age of 7. I whine a little when you first put me in his crate but settles down quickly.

Louie is a great and low maintenance dog. Perfect for any small dog lover!

Louie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is currently fostered in Athens, Alabama but not picky about where he ends up as long as he is an inside dog and loved. Please email info@FORrescue.net or fill out an application directly at http://www.FORrescue.net/dog-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Huntsville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
