JAVA's Story...
Sweet Java. Java is a 12 year old dachshund/spaniel mix who was unfortunate enough to end up at the shelter as a senior. She does have thyroid disease, which is under control with medication. We are not looking to adopt Java out, rather, we are looking for what we call a permanent foster. A nice quiet place for this sweet girl to live out the rest of her years. All of her medical costs will be covered for the rest of her life. If you have the room in your heart and your home for this sweet senior, please email AdoptMeTodayAN@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAVA, a Las Vegas Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
