My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let us introduce to you, a studly NBS Celebrity. . Weighing in at 45lbs, and 2 years handsome, house trained and well mannered, we have a gentleman for you to meet. Please welcome Brad PITT!

Bradley Pitt was brought to one of our volunteer’s home on a Saturday afternoon, as he was found roaming traffic with a severely injured leg. We immediately contacted Animal Control, hoping he had an owner looking for him. In the meantime, NBS Animal Rescue went into action to get emergency care for this boy. Although an emergency room with barking dogs can be a stressful place, Bradley sat quietly, and patiently as he waited for the kind staff to inspect his leg and check for further injuries. While at the vet’s office, Bradley impressed everyone around him with his gentle nature, not even flinching when his would needed to be cleaned, or when he needed a blood sample, and he sat still for his X-rays. Although he had no broken bones, his leg wound that appears to be a kind of burn or scrape was very painful for him.

Even in pain, Bradley was happy and welcomed his foster to clean his injury, give him a bath – and even sat still for a dremeled Paw-dicure. In fact, he just kind of “melts” to the floor when you offer him any kind of affection. He loves having his teeth brushed, getting belly rubs, and carrying a tiny stuffed teddy bear to his bed. This handsome young man is 2 years old, 100% house trained, and is great with other dogs. His best friend in foster care, is an 9lb Chihuahua that he snuggles close with at night.

Not only is he a gentle, calm soul – but he also great on a leash, loves car rides, knows “sit”, “lay down”, “shake”, “leave it” and “lay down in your bed”. He loves treats, but will wait until you say he can have it before he takes it ever so gently from your hand.

Brad Pitt is more than just a stud muffin, he’s a real treat to have around. While Bradley still has recovering to do, we’d love for you to share his story here on facebook, or check out our website for adoption information.

If you'd like to help with donations toward his continued veterinary care can be made at www.NBSanimalRescue.com

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!

Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.

While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
