Facts about Swagger

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: C-15-02-21-01
  • Hair: Short
Swagger is a very sweet, lovable boy. He is friendly and loves to be petted. Born on 2/23/2014, Swagger is a domestic short hair. He warms up quickly to new people, so should settle into a new home easily. This handsome boy is such a darling that it’s hard to believe he hasn’t been adopted yet!
Swagger is very vocal at times, particularly when he feels you have forgotten all about feeding him. He starts to remind you about a half an hour before mealtime…just to be sure he won’t miss a meal!!
He gets along with other cats, but would be purrfectly content as an only…in fact, he might prefer it. One of the other cats in the house likes to have staring contests with Swagger. We think he’s trying to get Swagger to play, but we’re not sure. We don’t know if he doesn’t know how to play or is just not interested, but one of them usually just eventually walks away.
He does not care for dogs at all. He feels threatened by them and tends to swipe at them until he knows they won’t bother him. Swagger would be fine with children because he is very easy-going and laid back.
Swagger is such a good boy. He doesn’t mind being held, he has never gotten on the counters or table, he usually minds his own business, and just wants a loving home of his own.
This handsome devil’s adoption fee is $75. That includes testing for FIV and feline leukemia (negative), neutering, microchipping, and all shots are up-to-date.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
