Honey's Story...
Honey is a 2 year old terrier mix who's looking for a new best friend! She was found as a stray several months ago. The family that found her kept her in hopes of being able to locate her owner, but unfortunately had no luck. She was recently brought to the shelter to begin her search for a loving new home. Could that home be yours??

Honey takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once she does she's very loving. We think she would do well in a home with kids and cats. Honey is also house broken, and crate trained! She's a playful and loving dog who deserves a wonderful home and family of her own.

The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Youngwood Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
