Sheldon is a male Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese approximately 2 1/2 years in age. He is a small little guy, weighing in at only 10 pounds full grown. Sheldon has a beautiful light apricot coat with creme highlights. He has been professionally groomed and his soft waves of fur are non-shedding. Sheldon is a super sweet, super sensitive boy. He is a big baby and will thrive in a home where he is pampered, fussed over, and coddled. He doesn't like anything loud or crazy, preferring a quiet, mellow surrounding. He wants to be close to his people, being held, snuggling on the couch, or tucked up safe in bed next to you. Sheldon is quiet and simply darling in every way. He needs a person with a kind, gentle touch who he can give his whole heart to. Sheldon walks on leash and appears to love the yard, rolling around in grass with pure joy and abandon. He will romp around playfully once he feels comfortable and almost appears to be showing off for his favorite people. Sheldon was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He was very scared and it is possible he was not treated well in his previous life. Regardless, Sheldon has remained sweet and will be a lovely little pet and companion in a responsible, caring home. He is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Sheldon’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Sheldon is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
