Reddington's Story...
Meet REDDINGTON!

Reddington is a BIG BEAUTIFUL red/orange cat, about 1 1/2 - 2 years old, who was wandering around outside and became a 'neighbourhood' cat. Everyone became worried about him when the freezing cold weather arrived so Ninth Life Cat Rescue stepped in to help him.

Reddington is a sweet, social guy who LOVES people! He'll nudge you for petting and will soon roll over to have his belly rubbed. He would be happiest as an only cat but gets along with most of the other friendly cats in the adoption centre, and MUST be kept indoors.

If you think that Reddington might be THE cat for you, please take a moment to visit him at our Etobicoke PetSmart location.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reddington, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
