KAT (Courtesy List)'s Story...
Kat is a beautiful and sweet 4 year old female full border collie. She is was born on a horse ranch and exhibits the typical border collie characteristics, including herding small children. She is very active and needs to go to an owner who can provide physical and mental stimulation. She is doggie door house trained. She is used to sleeping on a bed with her owners but does not mind the crate. She is not food or people aggressive but can be dog aggressive when food is involved or another dog challenges her, specifically other female dogs. Kat would thrive in an active household with a large yard, no other dogs and older or no children. Kat can bark and pace excessively if she is left alone. If you are interested in meeting Kat, please contact Cynthia at sindibear3000@yahoo.com or 626.715.0456

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KAT (Courtesy List), a San Pedro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
