Captain's Story...
Hop aboard my fun and friendly ship and I'll guarantee you an adventure of a lifetime! Super, super friendly, my tail is going a mile a minute when we meet and I am just panting up a storm so eager to kiss and interact with you! There is not a lot of couch potato in this boy…just saying! Still just a teen, I have love and energy to spare. My playmates will tell you I am a more intense playmate (I love to wrestle!!) and like to be the guy in charge but I am also good about figuring out those who do not want to play so I'm cool in letting them hang on the sidelines. A bit of a track star as I am a superior runner, sometimes if I am in the mood, I will even impress folks with my fetching skills and bring a ball right back to them! Ready to launch my party barge, I'm hoping that soon you'll climb aboard for the ride of a lifetime. 15 mos old; heartworm positive, 45lbs

Act quickly to adopt Captain. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain, a Darlington Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
