My story

My name is Grayson. I am a bigger, red cocker boy, 2 to 3 years old with a natural tail. I am so thankful to a good Samaritan who found me, alone and laying by the side of the road on a cold, snowy night here in NC. Pain was shooting through my body and I was hurt pretty bad from being hit by a car. They wrapped me up carefully and took me to their home, where I was safe. In the morning, they took me to animal control to see if anyone was looking for me. Unfortunately, no one came to claim me.

I am heartworm negative and a very nice, friendly guy. I have had a long recovery from my surgery due to my leg injuries, but I'm better now and I hope to find my perfect forever home real soon. I want someone to love me, take care of me and just help me to be the wonderful companion that I know I can be in a home where I am appreciated and very loved. I am making good progress with my injured leg since having surgery. I have started running, playing and jumping with all of my cocker buddies. I will always need someone to care for me and go the extra mile for me because of my injuries. I would love to be your new best friend, a great companion and share a wonderful rest of my life with you!
