Amelia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Amelia's Story...
I was a FREE to GOOD HOME kitten gone horribly wrong.

I was given to a person as a gift and she certainly didn’t appreciate my adorable good looks or my kitten antics, so she threw me outside. No matter how much I tried to get back in the house, she kept insisting that I be an outdoor kitten…….Thankfully a very nice neighbor took me in and now he’s asked our friends at Forgotten Angels Cat Rescue to help find me a FUREVER home.

I am very playful, full of personality, full of energy and just a fun loving girl. Because I’m still technically a kitten and I have all the energy to prove it, I would do great in a home that has people to play with me and tire me out. That way we all sleep better at night. I promise to keep you entertained with one of my many toys…..Never met a toy I didn’t like….hee-hee-hee.

So, if you’re looking to have some fun and if you like to laugh and smile, then I will do my part. All I ask as a FOREVER FAMILY to call my own and all the loves and pets I can handle. (Birthday: 6/2014)

If you would like to meet this adorable girl, please call Cathy at (661) 992-5668 or email her at hosford@hotmail.com for an Adoption Application.

** All cats/kittens are: spayed/neutered - immunized - dewormed - Vet Checked - Felv/FIV Combo Tested (Leukemia & AIDS) and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Palmdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
