Stu is a big ole’ guy. He almost looks to have some Great Dane in him. He is very easy going and has plenty of kisses for the humans around him. He seems to like easy going girl dogs. You can tell by the wear and tear on Stu’s body he has had a rough go in life. Chalk it all up to experience as having been around the block more than once, you do not sweat the small stuff. Stu wants love, a shady place to nap, good eats and a family of his own.
BRLA SENIOR FEATURE – STU
Stu came to BRLA via the Downey Shelter last July. Stu is described simply as a gentle giant. His body shows signs of outdoor living. Stu is a very calm boy with an awesome personality. He waits patiently for his turn to walk when our beloved BRLA Volunteers arrive. Stu has perfect leash manners and walks easily at your pace. He knows a few commands and is eager to earn any treats offered. Stu loves to sit on the couch and cuddle. He loves to give kisses too, but you have to earn them! Stu is a very special boxer, who at 9 years old deserves a place to call home. He’s a healthy boy yearning for that special someone to live out his remaining years with. Please consider providing Stu with what every boxer needs and adopt him today
Stu was adopted from BRLA and went to the most joyous home. His life has been filled with family life, kids and nothing but love. His family is military and when deployment to Japan was on order they were devastated to learn the forbidding Japanese laws regarding pets, embargos on flying dogs and Stu’s age all made such a journey impossible. This amazing family can keep Stu until the end of May 2015 which gives everyone a little time to hopefully find Stu a new home before he would have to reside at the BRLA kennel until adopted. This big ole lug even has a rabbit pal that he frequently checks on during his lazy days at home. Stu is a friendly mellow dog and his current owners say it best “He doesn't know a stranger he LOVES people he's a mellow guy that just wants to be with you and loved on there isn't a mean bone in this guys body kindest dog I have ever owed he's more like a person than a dog” Let’s do our patriotic duty and find Stu a home before his family is deployed.
