My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CEREBRUS aka BUS is a 3 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 60 pounds. Bus (Cerebrus) and Elly (Elysian) are a sweet bonded pair that fell on hard times. Their "owner" moved out of state and left them with a friend and we were asked for help. They are both really nice dogs. Bus is a sensitive, sweet guy. Bus's owner said he is super sweet, more dependent on Elly than she on him, loves to give kisses and lay his head in your lap. Bus likes to chase balls but will not always bring them back. Bus knows sit and sometimes stay. Bus walks OK on leash but pulls some as he is more used to a fenced yard for exercise. He is crate trained and house trained, but has not been crated in a while. He is good with other dogs. He likes toys and shares them nicely with Ely. He used to go to the dog park also. Bus lived with children. He is approved for kids 5+.

Update (5/01): Meet Elly and Bus, whose motto is "It's a dog's life...and we LOVE it!" This bonded pair is the most fun loving set of dogs their foster has ever met. They enjoy spending their time running, playing, exploring, and cuddling. Elly is so tiny you can't help but want to snuggle her up...her personality is a combination of Tinkerbell and Miss Daisy (from Driving Miss Daisy). Bus is all ears, legs, and tongue as he races around and tries to climb trees going after squirrels (real or imagined). They just arrived to their foster home, but they adjusted to the house routine immediately and the house rules in a few days.

Update (4/2): Elly and Bus are still fun and still wonderful! They are great house guests and love to play with each other and other dogs. Elly knows lots of commands and loves to sit and give her paw for a treat! She absolutely loves toys too and will carry them around in her mouth - so cute! Bus is working on his manners but is just a happy go lucky boy that loves everyone! He knows a few commands also. Elly and Bus are both on the petite side so don't take up much room and will make anyone super happy!

Update (3/20): Elly and Bus are such a great little pair! They have great house manners and love to play. Bus loves a ball and is so playful and friendly. Elly is a petite cutie who is sweet as can be! These two bonded buddies will some furever family super happy!

Update (3/15): Elly and Bus have settled in nicely at the foster. They are VERY good in the crate and have good house manners. They are loving playing with the other dogs outside but also like to chill on the couch and get snuggles. Elly is more reserved where Bus is very outgoing and LOVES to play. They both are well behaved and know some commands.
