Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Casey is an 18-24 month old female beagle who wants a family to call her own. Casey loves affection from people and she is so happy-go-lucky! (See video). She is still learning to play with toys, but until recently really didn't know what they were for. If kept on a strict schedule, she does well with her potty training. Casey is so curious: She wants to know what is going on every minute, especially outside. She loves to go for a walk and is great on a leash. Casey is a wonderful size, 20 lbs. of pure love and joy. She would make a great family dog. She's easy to handle and just loves everyone. She's a very good eater and sleeps contently in her crate. She is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children. She wants attention but she never growls, nips, bites or barks. Sometimes she howls outside if she sees something particularly interesting. She is cuddly and sweet and just wants to continue her new life of having a family to love, a warm bed, plenty of food and people being kind and gentle with her. She does love her foster brother and prefers to sleep cuddled up with him in his crate, so she would make a great second dog, but she would also adapt to being the queen dog very easily. Whoever adopts Casey ( and yes, she clearly knows her name) is in for a treat! Casey was recently treated for heartworms, and now is better than ever! Casey is located in Huntsville, AL but is available for adoption in your area. You can fill out an application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Casey is scheduled for spay on March 23 and will be ready to go to her new family after that, but she is accepting applications now! She will be spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and she is current on flea, parasite, and Heartworm preventative.
