Trixie arrived here Feb 6, 2014. Trixie was dropped off at the local shelter. She was unwanted after her owners divorced. She was very frightened at the shelter and was almost killed. When she first came, she didn't want to be touched. We were able to sit in her run while she ate. Even were able to hold her canned food bowl while she ate her antibiotics. After 24 hours I could pet her. And even got licks on the nose after she ate. Turns out, Trixie knows "sit" "down" "give paw". She needs a little work with leash walking and "come". She likes to swim and catch sticks.
