THEIR STORY:
Meet "Friendly," a lovable, trusting, purring, fur-ball! He is up for adoption. He use to live behind a dumpster near a restaurant, but now he is in my home getting lots of love and attention, especially from my 3 year old that likes to give hugs and kisses. In this 1st picture he received a much needed flea bath. He just sat there curled up in this blue towel, picture ready. He didn't even mind when I cleaned his dirty kitty ears. He is approx. 1 1/2 (according to the vet) and has been neutered with his rabies and distemper shot. He has been de-wormed and his ears have been cleaned. He also received a flea bath.
PERSONALITY: Well, this kitty was definitely someone's pet at one time. He is just so trusting and the moment I come in his room he starts purring...even before I pet him. He is a meower and likes to be curled up in your lap. He will just lay there, purring and gazing up at me in pure happiness. He definitely deserved better then living the rest of his life near a dumpster, that's for sure.
Here is a YOUTUBE video so you can see how he acts. He just got his flea bath and was sitting there about 5 minutes before I started shooting this video. He is very docile kitty. http://youtu.be/BD13BxfqKhE
IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM ME:
1) You must show up with a cat carrier for a safe return to his/her new home (15 dollars at walmart, although I advise anyone to get a BIGGER size as you never know how big your kitty will get and they will always be more comfortable with traveling in it.
2) I will have you fill out an adoption contract (your personal information as well as mine).
3) The adoption fee is only $40 dollars. This helps me cover SOME of the cost I have in him. He has been neutered, given rabies and distemper combo shot, dewormed, and given flea bath
4) I will take a picture of you and the new kitty (if you don't mind) to add to my adoption book. YOu can check out my book during the adoption process if you'd like. I will also send you the picture a week or two later as that is the time I check on you and the kitty to make sure the adoption is going well.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM ME:
1) You will receive a 4 page informational packet that can answer any questions you may have. Has information of places to get discounted meds and other things.
2) Spay/Neuter certificate OR vet documents
3) Copy of the adoption contract (will have kittens DOB and background on it as well as my contact information)
You can call me anytime show contact info
If you would like to see the kitty I can do so anytime after 5pm Monday-Friday or anytime on the weekends.
***REMEMER I WILL ALWAYS take the cat/kitten back if the adoption isn't working out. I don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day or put back on the streets******
