Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope and her sister Grace were originally part of an accidental litter of 6, being kept outside in a yard by the owners of the mother dog. Sadly, their mother rejected them and was physically harming them. Two of the puppies were lost, two were given away by the owner, and only these two female puppies remained. As a result of the mother dog regularly attacking them, Hope & Grace were in pretty bad shape. Both of them were bruised and sore and would cry out in pain when handled. They have suffered many bite wounds, several of which have become swollen and infected. Hope sustained a broken right rear leg as a result of the attacks which we’ve had set by a vet and is currently in a cast. You’d never know what they’ve gone through though by their sweet and trusting demeanor. For adoption or further info, please call 760-408-6494 or email rescues@bff4pets.com.
