Kaleb's Story...
Kaleb is a very handsome Jack Russell mix who was picked up as a stray with his brother Sebastian. They must have been having a lot of fun, because they were smelling very skunky on arrival! Sebastian has since been bathed and is as cuddly as could be. Although he loves to go for walks and check things out, he is at his happiest when he is getting attention from people! He doesn't seem to mind other dogs at all and although we have not cat tested him, we don't think he will have an issue with those either. We estimate him to be about a year old. Although Sebastian and Kaleb get along great together, they do not need to go to the same home. It would be awesome if they did, but we know adopting out pairs is hard and they seem to be okay when separated! If you are interested in one or both of these boys, they would love to meet you!

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
