Alex's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Alex's Story...
Alex is a very handsome little guy. He only weighs 7 lbs. and purrs
like a twenty-pounder! He is very loving, quiet, gentle and
attentive. He’s not overactive and loves to nap! He would be fine in
a home with or without other cats and kids, but dogs stress him out,
although he manages to stay away from them and mind his own business.
He is fostered in Huntsville, AL with a dog, 3 cats and a kid, but he
is not picky about where his FORever home will be, as long as he is
loved. If you would like to meet him, please complete an application
online at All kittens are in
foster homes, not cages! They are felv/fiv negative, up to date on
vaccines, spay/neutered, and micro-chipped. Alex’s adoption fee is
$25 because he is over 6 months old and all applications are reviewed
on a first come first serve basis, so fill out your application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alex, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
