Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TRINKET
7-8 Year Old, Female Snowshoe Siamese
This little cute girl is a very affectionate lap cat. Or so the Owner Surrender papers the shelter gave me said. I can see that loving nature in her but I haven’t had her long and she is still a bit in shock to not be on her mom’s lap. So she is a bit wary. She sure is cute.
What you can’t quite tell from these photos is that her thick fluffy tail has a very definite kink in it that is just adorable.
She came into the shelter with a young Oriental Shorthair, Yoshi, due to family members with allergies moving into the home. I am guessing an adult child moved back in with children and one of the kids was allergic. This is just a guess. Her paperwork says she has lived with and gotten along with children. This kitty was clearly her mother’s darling and it would have taken something like worry over a grandchild’s health to cause her mom to surrender her.
So she is good-natured and trying to adjust to a massive change in her world. She now has not much lap time and lots of cats all around. Yikes what happened?? (Not to mention the stressful time she spent in a shelter.) Trinket is a good little girl and she is settling in nicely. She will make someone a wonderful, happy, playful companion. I expect she will keep that someone warm and cozy as he or she watches movies on late night TV.
Trinket is a little thing with a solid, cobby body. Her coat is thick and plush, bright white and chocolate brown. Of course, she has the blue, blue eyes of the Siamese. She seems entirely healthy .
She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Trinket is fostered in Santa Cruz, CA.
